DESCRIPTION:Death Save Pinball Calgary presents SUPER Matchplay \nStart Date: June 01\, 2024\nEnd Date: June 02\, 2024 \nStart Time: Saturday\, June 1st\, 12:30pm and continues Sunday at 12:30pm \nFormat: 16 rounds of match play (10 on Saturday and 6 on Sunday) with playoffs to follow.\nPlayoffs occur the Sunday at approx. 5:00pm.\nPrize: Cash prizes for Div A \, B and Novice dependent on player entries. Less fees. Div A (1st 45%\, 2nd 22%\, 3rd 20% 4th 13% after playoffs).\nDiv B Top 2 and Novice Top 2 players after the final standings\, (no separate playoffs). Pot split approx. 63%/37%\nPot is split approximately 65% to A and 20% to B and 15% to Novice. TGP – 200% + event with 48 plus players. \nEntry fees (ranking Thursday\, May 30th):\n$20 IFPA 1-1\,700 (A restricted)\n$15 IFPA 1\,701-5\,200 (B restricted)\n$10 IFPA 5\,201-99\,999\nplus coin drop \nFormat: 16 rounds of matchplay in groups of 4. IFPA scoring (7/5/3/1).\nPlayoffs occur the Sunday at Approx. 5:00pm. All games will be selected at the beginning of each round.\nThe top seed selects game or position for games 1 and 3 and 2nd seed selects game or position for game 2. No game may be selected by the same player more than once. \n48 players or more:\nTop 24 make playoffs. 3 games per round with PAPA scoring (4/2/1/0).\nTop 8 receive a bye. Seeds 9-24 form four groups of 4 and play a 3 game opening round. The top 2 advance from each group and join the 8 bye players for the quater finals. Then the top 2 in each group advance to the elite 8\, and play a 3 game semi-finals.Top 2 in each semi-final group advance to finals and play 3 more games with Papa scoring. \n32 players or more:\nTop 16 make playoffs. 3 games per round with PAPA scoring (4/2/1/0).\nSeeds 1-16 form four groups of 4 and play a 3 game quarter-finals. Top 2 in each group advance to the elite 8\, and play a 3 game semi-finals.Top 2 in each semi-final group advance to finals and play 3 more games with Papa scoring. \n24-31 players:\nTop 12 make playoffs.\nSeeds 1-4 get a bye. Seeds 5-12; Two groups of 4 play quarter-finals and play 3 games.
