DESCRIPTION:DSP – Death Save Pinball Calgary presents; 2024 Fall/Winter Don’t Fear the Reaper\, Wednesday Pinball Party Tournament Series! \nLocation: The Hidden Spot 2323 32 Ave NE #125\, Calgary\, AB T2E 6Z3\nStart Time: 6pm warmup\, 6:45pm START time.\nSeries Dates: August 28th – January 8th (best 6 of 9 qualify for series points). Playoffs Sunday\, January 5th or 12th (subject to change).\nFull 9 Session Series: $25 if registered on or before August 7th; August 8th and later is $30 for the full season plus coin drop.\nNew players that have never played in a DSP Calgary League are only $20 plus coin drop. \nDrop-ins are welcome for $5\, plus coin drop. \nFormat: 6 rounds of matchplay in groups of 4. Scoring (7 / 5 / 3 / 1). Playoffs occur the following Wednesday. \n40 players or more (TGP 120%):\nTop 16 make playoffs. 3 games per round with PAPA scoring (4/2/1/0).\nSeeds 1-16 form four groups of 4 and play a 3 game quarter-finals. Top 2 in each group advance to the elite 8\, and play a 3 game semi-finals.Top 2 in each semi-final group advance to finals and play 3 more games with Papa scoring. \n24-40 players (TGP 108%):\nTop 12 make playoffs.\nSeeds 1-4 get a bye. Seeds 5-12; Two groups of 4 play quarter-finals and play 3 games.
