SUMMARY:Reaper Champion: Thursday Night League - Meet 5 Playoffs/Side Event
DESCRIPTION:Ready to switch gears and try something familiar yet totally different and new?! If you’re looking for pinball action every week then this is the league for you! This format will be similar to the Wednesday/Thursday tournament series format that we were running through the summer and fall 2019. However\, it will be structured into a league format! \nThis league format is based on 6 rounds of group matchplay being completed every second week with the top (8) position finals determining the winner of the meet through a 1-2 round playoff every second week opposite to the qualifying week. On the playoffs weeks\, we will also be experimenting with some new (and some usual) side tournament formats\, freeplay events and other activities for everyone who didn’t make the finals in the qualifying week. Attendance of playoffs weeks is not mandatory (unless you made the playoffs) but is encouraged to add some extra fun to your week and to cheer on the finalists! After the playoffs are completed for each meet\, the meet is submitted to IFPA as an event. The league format will feature a divisional seeding structure which includes running totals for your individual league IFPA point accumulation over the season leading up to the divisional finals playoff at the end of the season. Divisions will be determined by the number of players that make 4+ meet attendance prior to the end of the season. You must show up to at least 4 out of 6 qualifying nights to be eligible for the end of season divisional finals playoffs. All players who make 5-6 meets will drop their lowest 1-2 scoring weeks before the pre-finals league final seeding is determined. Location: Century Casino Bowling\nDates: January 9\, 2020 (Meet 1 Qualifying)\, January 16\, 2020 (Meet 1 Playoffs/Side Event)\, January 23\, 2020 (Meet 2 Qualifying)\, January 30\, 2020 (Meet 2 Playoffs/Side Event)\, February 6\, 2020 (Meet 3 Qualifying)\, February 13\, 2020 (Meet 3 Playoffs/Side Event)\, February 20\, 2020 (Meet 4 Qualifying)\, February 27\, 2020 (Meet 4 Playoffs/Side Event)\, March 5\, 2020 (Meet 5 Qualifying)\, March 12\, 2020 (Meet 5 Playoffs/Side Event)\, March 19\, 2020 (Meet 6 Qualifying)\, March 26\, 2020 (Meet 6 Playoffs/Side Event)\, April 2\, 2020 (League Finals Playoff)\nRegistration cutoff date: 6:30PM MST January 9\, 2020.

SUMMARY:Flip Frenzy for Charity
DESCRIPTION:Flip Frenzy is a timed head to head tournament. Be prepared to play a lot of games on randomly assigned machines without a break in between games other then the designated breaks. Speed is of the essence as the number of wins determines who makes the finals. \n$25 to enter. $10 from each entry goes to the Prize Pool\, $10 to charity\, $4 for machine use\, $1 to IFPA fees. No coin drop/machines will be on free play throughout the event. \n40 players maximum – reserve your spot today by emailing\nericrichardmoore@gmail.com \nStart of the Period and Gameplay\nEach period is one-hour and fifteen minutes long. 3 periods are played. 15 minutes breaks between each period; 15 minute breaks start as soon as the timer for the period ends. \nTo start each period\, players are paired up using Matchplay software. Also at the start of each period\, a cue of players is determined. Number of players in the cue is determined by dividing the total number of players signed up by 5. (Ex. 40 players sign up. 32 play; 8 players in the cue). 40 players maximum. Players in the cue at the end of the 1st or 2nd period\, will be player 1 at a machine in the following period. 16 machines maximum. Less than 16 machines may be used per period when less than 32 playing. Machines are subject to change during the period and between periods. \nPlay starts simultaneously when the period timer starts. The Winner of each head to head game reports their win. The loser of the game becomes player 2 and the person in the front of the cue becomes player 1. The Winner joins the back of the cue. Players from the front of the cue will always be player 1. If player 2 loses again on the same machine\, both players join the back of the cue (player 2 is at the back of the cue). The play continues this way until the timer for the period runs out. \nEnd of the Period\nWhen the timer for the period ends\, no new games will be started. At the end of a period\, it’s a shared decision between each pair of head to head competitors if they wish to continue or end their current match. The 3rd period is over when all games have finished and winners have reported their wins. Player with the most wins\, wins the Flip Frenzy. \nThe top 8 players with the most wins after 3 periods will play in PAPA format finals. Ties for the top 8\, if any\, will be broken via one ball playoff on a random game. \nPrize Pool\n1st – 50% prize pool\n2nd – 25% prize pool\n3rd – 15% prize pool\n4th – 10% prize pool

SUMMARY:Reaper Champion: Thursday Night League - Meet 4 Qualifying

SUMMARY:Reaper Champion: Thursday Night League - Meet 2 Qualifying
