DESCRIPTION:DSP PACE Match Play Monday Summer Series\nJuly 7th\, July 14th\, July 21st\, July 28th and August 11th and 18th. \nEntry Fees: $5 plus coin drop each Monday event. \nFormat: PACE Match Play 4 player groups. \nPlayoffs: AMAZING RACE Top 5. \nPrizes: Cash prizes for the top 2 overall and the next top Div player. \nDivisions: Divisions will be split by IFPA Rank 1-1\,800 Div 1 and Div 2 1\,801 – New players. If we exceed 30 players we will add a third division. \nPace match play is a bit like running a race. You’re playing your matches\, accumulating points along the way\, but there’s a minimum amount of progress you need to make to stay in the race. Players who fail to make the required progress are eliminated. \nThis tournament format plays a bit like a knockout tournament but with more flexibility around when the first elimination happens and the total runtime. It also has a more positive psychological spin as players are accumulating positive points vs. getting unwanted strikes. When compared to knockout tournaments\, Pace match play will give all players more minimum guaranteed rounds while still ensuring the tournament ends in a reasonable maximum number of rounds. \nQuestions please email us at info@deathsavepinball.ca

DESCRIPTION:DSP – Death Save Pinball Calgary Presents: Stern Army 2025 Fall/Winter Don’t Fear the Reaper\, Wednesday Pinball Party Tournament Series \nLocation: The Hidden Spot 2323 32 Ave NE #125\, Calgary\, AB \nStart Time: 6pm warmup\, 6:45pm START time. \nSeries Dates: August 27th – December 18th (best 6 of 9 qualify for series points). \nDrop-ins are welcome for $5\, plus Coin drop. \nFormat: 6 rounds of matchplay in groups of 4. Scoring (7 / 5 / 3 / 1). Playoffs occur the following Wednesday. \nThe Wednesday\, December 17th session #9 playoffs will be on Thursday\, December 18th and will have the top 24 players make playoffs with 48 plus players. (TGP 132%) \n32 players or more (TGP 120%):\nTop 16 make playoffs. 3 games per round with PAPA scoring (4/2/1/0).\nSeeds 1-16 form four groups of 4 and play a 3 game quarter-finals. Top 2 in each group advance to the elite 8\, and play a 3 game semi-finals.Top 2 in each semi-final group advance to finals and play 3 more games with Papa scoring. \n24 – 31 players (TGP 108%):\nTop 12 make playoffs.\nSeeds 1-4 get a bye. Seeds 5-12; Two groups of 4 play quarter-finals and play 3 games. Top 2 in each group join seeds1-4 bye players to advance to the elite 8 semi-finals.Top 2 in each group advance to finals and play 3 more games with Papa scoring. \nFull 9 session Series: $25 if registered on or before August 5th; August 6th and later is $30 for the full season plus coin drop.
