The Alberta Challenge Cup is an annual friendly pinball competition between the previous year’s top players from Calgary and Edmonton, and surrounding areas.
The tournament consists of open and women’s teams of 8 players from the two cities competing in 4 rounds (Split Finger, Alternate Shot, Best Game, and Match Play) with a best 2 out of 3 games format. Players earn points for their team based on their finishing positions, with 20 points needed to claim the Alberta Challenge Cup.
The 2024 edition of the Alberta Challenge Cup was held on October 6th in Calgary at The Hidden Spot. It was a close race all day but ended with both the Calgary men’s and women’s teams winning their respective cups. Congratulations!
