Calgary Pinballettes Women’s Pinball League

Hello Women Pinball Players of Calgary!

I am excited to announce the autumn session dates of the Calgary Pinballettes Women’s Pinball League! Fall can be a busy time for many—with work and going to school and such—but sometimes you still just want to play pinball. Well, we have just the cure! Our fall league will start on September 12, 2022 and run every second Monday until December 5, 2022.

-Can’t make it to every tournament? No problem! Your lowest two nights will be dropped. In other words, only 5 nights will count towards your final league score that counts towards finals. In other-other-wards, you can miss two nights and still make the finals! Best 5 of 7 nights count towards finals. Finals are not for women’s IFPA points, only for cash prizes.

-Each league night will consist of six rounds of MatchPlay other than Dec. 5, which will consist of three games for the finals as well.

-On Dec. 5—the final league night—we will do our final six rounds of MatchPlay and then our finals will take place.

-Finals will consist of three games played by the top four players in each division using PAPA scoring(4210). Standings for finals will be calculated using best 5 of 7 league nights.

-League will take place at The Hidden Spot located at #125 2323 32nd Ave, NE Calgary, AB.

-Registration will start at 6:20 pm (you can always arrive earlier to eat or practice) and MatchPlay Tournament play will begin at 7pm.

-It is $2 to play in each tournament and machines will be on coin drop (meaning you will need to bring six loonies minimum to play the machines–one loonie per machine).

-ALL SKILL LEVELS AND AGES ARE WELCOME! It is a family venue!

-There will be cash prizes! A Division: $50 for 1st, $30 for 2nd, $20 for 3rd, $10 for 4th. B Division: $30 for 1st, $20 for 2nd, $10 for 3rd, $5 for 4th.

-The league will be IFPA sanctioned so if you are trying to build your IFPA women’s rank, awesome. And if you are just out to have a fun night of pinball and don’t care about IFPA points, come and join us! The Hidden Spot has a bar and we are ecstatic to see you as well!
