Death Save Pinball Hosts Stampede MAX Match Play

Death Save Pinball Calgary proudly hosts Stampede Pinball!
Open to ALL players!
 
You must pay your own admission into the Stampede Grounds. There is a Superpass for $50 that can get you into the Stampede for all 10 days (vs. $25 for one day). Available for purchase online until July 3rd. https://www.calgarystampede.com/superpass
 
Date: Saturday, July 5th
Start Time: 12:45pm with announcements. Warmup concludes at 12:30pm.
Format: 15 games of MAX Matchplay (2 player games)
There will be a break after the 15 rounds for 1 hour.
Location: Stampede Grounds, lower level of The Big Four building. https://www.calgarystampede.com/stampede/attractions/the-range-food-hall
 
Tournament Fees: $15 IFPA 1-1,300;
$10 IFPA 1,301 – 4,000 and
$5 IFPA 4,001 to NEW players plus coin drop
 
Prizes: There will be a $750 guaranteed plus entry fees prize pot to be divided between Division A, B and Novice. Less : IFPA and wristband costs.
Prize pot will be divided 70/20/10 between Div A, B and Novice.
The top 3 Div B and Top 2 Novice will receive cash prizes.
There is no separate playoffs for Div B and Novice. Placement will be decided at the conclusion of the playoffs. Trophies will also be awarded.
Div A (Main) will pay out the top 4 players up to 49 attendees, Top 6 overall 50-79 players and top 8 with 80+ players.
Division Restrictions: IFPA Division A: 1 – 1,300 ; Division B: 1,301 – 4,000 ; Novice: 4,001 to NEW players.
Players may be moved up a division if they have not played in the past couple years.
Tiebreaker seeding: Strength of Opponent.
Player Limit: 120 players
 
Playoffs: Rounds will include 3 game banks. The top 24 with 48 or more players (top 8 seeds receive a bye).
The top 16 with 32 – 47 players.
Players play 3 games in group match play with Papa scoring (4,2,1,0).
Should there be a tie for a BYE or 24th / 16th place those players will play a full game on a SS/EM to determine the bye or making the playoffs. This will take place BEFORE the break. If you leave, you will sacrifice your spot.
There are no separate playoffs for Division B and Novice. Final placement will be determined after the conclusion of the playoffs.
