Death Save Pinball Calgary presents: Stern Army Pokémon PREMIUM Launch Party

Date: SUNDAY, April 12th
Time: 12:30pm
Location: Nightwave Arcade 2020R 32 Ave NE, Calgary. There is additional parking behind the building.

Entry: $10 (IFPA 1-300); $5 (IFPA 1,301-99,999)
NEW Players that have never played in an IFPA tournament are FREE, plus coin drop.

Format: Groups of 4. Target Match Play to 18 points. Tiered Swiss. Will move to straight Swiss once the Tier reaches the Top 4, playing each other.
Scoring: Pinburgh (3,2,1,0 and 3 player groups 3, 1.50, 0)
Estimated rounds: 7-9

Playoffs: The Top 8 make main playoffs. 3 games PAPA scoring top 2 advance from each group and another 3 game set will be played/ MAX 50% of the field. Each group will have Pokémon as one of the games in their bank.

Tiebreakers will be on a Solid State or EM to determine top 8.

Division restrictions: under 30 players Div 1: IFPA 1-1,700 ; Div 2: 1,701 to NEW.
30 and over players Div 1: IFPA 1 – 1,300 ; Div 2: 1,301 – 4,200 and Div 3: 4,201 to NEW.
If you haven’t played in a couple years or infrequently you may be moved up a division based on your highest IFPA rank.

Prizes: Small cash prizes, Div 1 top 4 after main playoffs. The Top Div 2 player remaining and Top Div 3 player remaining with 30 plus players after final standings. There will be no separate playoffs for Div 2 or 3. If required, tiebreakers for Div 2 and 3 will be done on Pokémon.

Launch Party Plaque to the winner (Still to be approved by Stern and Nintendo).
RANDOM draw for a Pokémon Translite.
