Calgary Pinballettes Women’s Pinball League

Hello Women Pinball Players of Calgary!

I am excited to introduce the Calgary Pinballettes Women’s Pinball League! Summer can be a busy time for many, but sometimes you still just want to play pinball. Well, we have just the cure! Our summer league will start on July 11 and run every Monday until August 22.

-Can’t make it every Monday? No problem! Your lowest two nights will be dropped. In other words, only 5 nights will count towards your final league score that counts towards finals. In other-other-wards, you can miss two nights and still make the finals!

-Each league night will consist of six rounds of MatchPlay.

-On August 22–the final league night– we will do our final six rounds of MatchPlay and then our finals will take place.

-Finals will consist of three games played by the top four players in each division using PAPA scoring(4210). Standings for finals will be calculated using best 5 of 7 league nights.

-League will take place at YYC Bowling & Entertainment located at 1130 42 Ave, SE, Calgary, AB.

-League doors will open at 6pm (although YYC Bowling is open at 3pm if you want 4 hours of practice time) and MatchPlay Tournament play will begin at 7pm.

-It is two dollars to play in the tournament and machines will be on coin drop (meaning you will need to bring six loonies to play the machines–one loonie per machine).

-ALL SKILL LEVELS AND AGES ARE WELCOME! It is a family venue!

-There will be cash prizes! A Division: $100 for 1st, $50 for 2nd, $20 for 3rd. B Division: $30 for 1st, $20 for 2nd, $10 for 3rd.

-The league will be IFPA sanctioned so if you are trying to build your IFPA rank, awesome. And if you are just out to have a fun night of pinball and don’t care about IFPA, come and join us! YYC Bowling has a bar and we are ecstatic to see you as well!
